Natalia Poklonskaya (born 1980) is a Russian politician, lawyer, and diplomat. She gained international attention in 2014 when she was appointed Prosecutor General of Crimea after its annexation by Russia. Her press conference quickly went viral, making her a media figure. Before this, Poklonskaya worked as a prosecutor in Ukraine. Later, she served as a deputy in Russia’s State Duma, where she was known for her conservative views and outspoken positions.
