Mao Zedong Biography
(1893–1976) was a Chinese revolutionary leader and the founding father of the People’s Republic of China, established in 1949. Born in Hunan Province, he became a Marxist in his youth and rose to lead the Communist Party of China after the Long March and the civil war victory over the Nationalists.
