Fumio Kishida Biography
born on July 29, 1957, in Hiroshima, is a Japanese politician serving as the Prime Minister of Japan since October 2021. A member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), he previously held key posts including Minister for Foreign Affairs (2012–2017), where he played a role in major international negotiations.
As Prime Minister, Kishida has focused on economic recovery, strengthening Japan’s defense capabilities, and promoting a “new capitalism” aimed at reducing inequality. He is also known for advocating nuclear disarmament, shaped by his family’s connection to Hiroshima.
