Condoleezza Rice (born 14 November 1954) is an American political scientist, diplomat, and public servant. She served as the 66th U.S. Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009 under President George W. Bush, becoming the second woman and first African-American woman to hold the position. Rice also served as National Security Advisor from 2001 to 2005. Known for her expertise in foreign policy, she played a key role in U.S. national security, international diplomacy, and post-9/11 policy decisions. Rice continues to influence global affairs as a professor, author, and public speaker.
