Annelise Dodds Biography , born on March 16, 1978, in Aberdeen, Scotland, is a British Labour Party politician. She has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Oxford East since 2017.
A former academic specializing in public policy and economics, Dodds became Labour’s first female Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer in 2020. In 2021, she was appointed as Labour Party Chair and later as Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities. She is recognized for her focus on economic fairness, equality, and social justice.
