Alexi Navalny Biography (1976–2024) was a Russian lawyer, politician, and anti-corruption activist. He gained prominence for exposing corruption among Russia’s political and business elites, often through online investigations and social media.
A strong critic of President Vladimir Putin, Navalny organized protests, ran for political office, and became a symbol of Russia’s opposition movement. He survived a poisoning attempt in 2020 but was later imprisoned upon returning to Russia. Navalny died in prison in February 2024, remembered worldwide as a leading voice for democracy and accountability in Russia.
