IchirÅ_ Hatoyama Biography
(1883–1959) was a Japanese politician who served as Prime Minister of Japan from 1954 to 1956. A founder of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), he played a key role in shaping post-war Japanese politics.
During his tenure, Hatoyama worked to normalize diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union in 1956, which led to Japan’s admission into the United Nations. He is remembered as an influential leader in rebuilding Japan’s political landscape after World War II.
