Ding Xuexiang Biography
born in September 1962 in Jiangsu Province, is a senior Chinese politician and a close aide to President Xi Jinping. A trained engineer, he began his career in Shanghai, where he held several administrative and Party positions.
He became well known as Xi’s trusted secretary and later served as Director of the General Office of the Chinese Communist Party, overseeing daily operations of the top leadership. In October 2022, Ding was appointed to the Politburo Standing Committee, China’s highest decision-making body, making him one of the country’s most powerful leaders.
